Hockeymoms.org was created by me, Carol Wolfe, a three-time hockey mom.
After traveling up and down the Northeastern Seaboard going to a myriad of hockey tournaments, I wish I knew more about the rink and the services nearby before I left my home.
I’ve created this site as a way for parents, players, managers and others to share what they know so that others visiting their home rink are more prepared and can grab that down jacket before they leave or know in advance whether there is a warm spot for the grandparents to watch the game or if there is a hot cup of coffee waiting for them at the rink.
In addition to reviewing and rating rinks on their amenities and comforts, I also wanted to provide a place where parents can find local youth hockey programs nearby to help ease and encourage their kids into a great sport. Parents, players and managers will also have an outlet to share what is going on in their Hockey League.
Here is a picture of my kids when they were just starting out. They are now 22, 20 and 16 and I am still going to hockey games and loving every minute of it.
As you visit a rink, please open up our page, find that rink and rate it for us! Your thoughts and opinions will make the information on this site valuable to all of us Hockey Moms & Dads!
Thank you, Carol
